Under the terms of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, the customer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of the ordered items to exercise, with RECIFE, their right of free withdrawal , without the need to invoke a justification and without any penalty.
In the case of free termination under the aforementioned terms, the customer must, within a period of 14 days from the date on which he communicated his decision to terminate the contract, return the articles to RECIFE, by personal delivery at the store, by request to RECIFE to send a carrier or hire a carrier/courier.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, under legal terms.
In the case of delivery of items to be returned to a store, delivery can be made at any RECIFE store/branch and the purchase invoice must be presented in paper or electronic format.
In the case of a request to RECIFE to send a carrier for collection purposes, the request must be made by telephone contact or via email and, in that sequence, a carrier will be sent to collect the item(s) to be returned in the address indicated by the customer.
When returning the items, the customer must take into account the following instructions:
i. Place the items to be returned, together with the IBAN of the bank account to which you want the refund to be made, in the original packaging;
ii. Make sure the box is closed and the items are properly and securely packed.
The items must be returned in the proper and exact conditions in which they were shipped by RECIFE, including the respective accessories, and must present the marking made by RECIFE, without any sign of internal or external manipulation, otherwise the customer will be responsible for the respective depreciation, under legal terms.
In case of exercise of free resolution and return of any item, RECIFE is not responsible for any other additional cost, such as vehicle immobilization, assembly/disassembly labor costs or the cost of collecting the packaging.
The refund of returned items is made by RECIFE to the customer, within the shortest possible period and within a period of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the returned items.
RETURN CONDITIONS
Outside of the cases, terms and periods of free resolution, exchanges are not accepted.
Items cannot be returned after use.
Regardless of the reason for the return, the return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
All non-compliant or damaged products must be returned to RECIFE, which will send the customer an item with similar characteristics and price, if there is stock availability.
The same procedure will apply in the case of misidentification of the article, under the responsibility of RECIFE.
RECIFE is not responsible for any incompatibility, in cases of error attributable to the customer, so the customer should always check and make sure that the item purchased is suitable for the vehicle for which it is intended.
In the event of non-compliance or damaged items, RECIFE may present the customer with an alternative proposal to refund the price, namely the assignment of a check voucher, with a defined period, which will, in any case, be subject to acceptance from the customer.
Certain items, due to their special characteristics, must be returned in person at the store by the customer.
RECIFE is not responsible for any damage resulting exclusively from transport, namely broken glass, so in the event of a return, in addition to shipping costs, the risk arising from the transport of the articles is the responsibility of the customer.
